Kate Edmondson Couture offers a fully bespoke bridal experience from her West London atelier, designed for brides who value precision, individuality and considered design. Counting some of fashion’s most discerning brides among her following, Kate specialises in bridal separates and precision suiting – think sharp, fluid tailoring and beautifully constructed tops paired with bias-cut skirts – creating complete wedding wardrobes that carry a bride from the lead-up through to the after-party. Pieces are produced in limited quantities or entirely to order, with meticulous hand-finishing throughout.
The bespoke process reflects Kate’s practice as a couturier: together, you have an in-depth exploration of personal style, then sketches are drawn, measurements taken and a calico toile – a couture mock-up – is created (to ensure an exacting fit) before the final garment is crafted from fine materials including silk crepe, duchess satin and Italian wool. Accessories, veils and headpieces can also be designed and made in-house, creating a cohesive wardrobe down to the last detail. The result? An entire suite of bridal looks, each individually tailored and styled with intention, ensuring longevity far beyond the ceremony itself.
